"Well, most of my interest now is around the legs, peripheral arteries and also the aorta. On Sunday, I heard some very interesting controversies around the follow-up after EVAR, related to who needs to be followed up, how they should be followed up and how long they should be followed up. I think that’s really important because it helps us treat our patients better.
"I’ll be attending the sessions on the thoracic aorta, which is a real focus of interest for me and I’m also looking forward to hearing a talk on venous disease and multiple sclerosis, that’s an area that is certainly new. We’re only just beginning to try and understand that relationship."
"Oh yes, this year’s symposium is living up to the theme of controversies! I always look forward to Charing Cross because it forces people to think about issues in a way that’s different from maybe, what they’re used to. As opposed to the presentations, which are strictly didactic, the debates certainly add a bit of spice to the proceedings, and get you emotionally engaged with the controversies that are featured.
