Following the success of the MEET 2003 in Marseille, Max Amor, Patrice Bergeron, Fausto Castriota, Alberto Cremonesi, Klaus Mathias and Dieter Raithel present the MEET 2004 congress, which will gather in Cannes 50 top level worldwide experts in peripheral endovascular therapies. During four days, from June 11–14, they will present to the expected 500-people multidisciplinary audience the latest results, news and developments in the field.
Among other faculty members, Jean Pierre Becquemin, Michael Dake, Rosella Fattori, Juan Carlos Parodi and Ludger Sunder-Plassmann will cover all aspects of endografting in the thoracic and abdominal aorta for aortic diseases on Friday June 11, afternoon, while live case demonstrations will be presented from Saint Joseph Hospital in Marseille.
Giorgio Biasi, L. Nelson Hopkins, Joachim Schofer, Jacques Théron and Marc Van Sambeek will detail endovascular tools currently available to treat lesions of the carotid arteries and supra-aortic trunks on Saturday June 12, morning. Challenging and didactic live case demonstrations will also be showed from Polyclinique Louis Pasteur, Essey-les-Nancy.
On Saturday afternoon, Jacques Bleyn, Mario Galli, Frans Moll, Steve Ramee and Wolfram Theiss will describe the endovascular strategies to treat lower limbs, mesenteric and renal vascular diseases while both live centres will present step-by-step procedures.
While Sunday, June 13 will teach small audiences about complete and didactic technical tips and tricks, and how to proceed, Monday, June 14 features a whole day dedicated to complications during all kinds of peripheral interventions and displays commented video cases.
