Gore has announced that Dr Peter A Soukas, Caritas St Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, MA, has enrolled the first patient in the EMBOLDEN (Gore Embolic Filter in Carotid Stenting for High Risk Surgical Subjects) clinical study on 6 January 2009.
